Nice. I need to set up a camera at my birdbath too. I have to order longer cords. They’re fun to watch.
I’ve had a very unusual problem - I have an OG cam set up on my hummingbird feeders - but I’ve only seen a total of five hummingbirds in the last month.
What I HAVE seen…
I think the birds are making it clear, they want you to hang a seed feeder.
I put a ~20" round 2.5" deep terracotta dish on top of a 4’ tall tomato cage. (Poor mans bird bath.) I stuck a flat fish tank style rock in the middle of it. A pair of Robbins have been bathing in it the past couple of days in a row. By the time they are done over half of the water is gone. They sure do seem to like it and splash all around. I have found bird watching to be an addictive hobby. I cannot seem to get enough of our feathered friends.
I would place it higher up, and maybe closer to the inside corner?
Nice bird photos. They certainly do not bother my hummers. I would try a different feeder with the flower color(s) more realistic and contrasting the background color of the feeder. The one you have seems to be all the came color.
I’ve been working off and on for an inexpensive self-filling birdbath/dish. The ones they sell for pets or farm animals are too deep for birdbath.
Hmm, I like that idea. Please share when you have a working model. I would think something like a self filling dog/cat dish might work. Maybe you could screw in a couple of gallon milk jugs filled with water to keep the bath full?

Hurray for Wyze Bird Cam ! They will not be disappointed. A whole new market and no more voiding warranty to change focus or swap lens. Meanwhile, Here is a photo essay: Robins With Attitude. This is what happens when they discover that the cameras have been moved to new locations. All three are WCOs.
Cattack !
Bird donated a few feathers
What a great sequence. The torque capacity in the joints of these creatures is remarkable.
Degree of difficulty increased for kitty by transverse beam just beyond the pool. What would he have done if he’d had bird in hand as the beam met his forward momentum (harder to hop.)
Happy holiday weekend, particularly to all of you bird lovers. This is my new favorite set of Northern Cardinal interactions ever caught by this V3 came: https://youtu.be/TMhQrIJZFR8
A few minutes prior the adult male visited on his own and could be seen signaling. The way the family interacts with each other in the video above is pretty neat.
This Cardinal got into it with something…maybe another Cardinal earlier in the day? I suspect he will be lucky to pull through the night.
Aww. Boy, he kept looking over his shoulder. Maybe a cat went after him. I think he’ll be ok, though.
Was in the back yard this afternoon and saw 5 bluebirds perched on the cable coax.
Connected the camera for the bluebird feeder and put some crunchy dried mealworms inside. Should have some footage tomorrow. I thought they flew away in the winter. Chances are some of these are from broods that fledged from my birdhouse.
Oh nice. Maybe some stay where they are if there’s enough food for them?
