Wyze Bulb Color vacation mode set to wrong time zone

I bought a pair of bulbs back in March and vacation mode has never worked properly. My phone is set to PST. When vacation mode is enabled, it seems like the bulbs are set to GMT. I use the sun match feature, too, and that tracks with PST.

The firmware on the bulbs is up to date, I’m using the latest version of the Wyze app, I’ve toggled vacation mode on and off many times, deleted and re-paired the bulbs, deleted the app cache, reinstalled the app, and restarted my phone and the problem persists. I also have a Wyze Cam 3 and the timestamp on the video feed is correct.

Anything I’m missing, or is this a problem with the bulbs? Wyze is offering a gift certificate but I’d rather just exchange or return them at this point.

I am having the exact same problem. I have been in touch with the customer support folks and they asked me to submit a log. I will be curious to see if they can help with this. I’m hoping they can fix the issue rather than just give me a refund. Seems like it should be an easy solution to resolve.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news…Wyze support doesn’t look at the logs. They get sent to developers which seems to be just a black hole. I wouldn’t hold your breath for a fast response. Most issues of this type don’t get resolved quickly, if at all.

Same issue here. Chat was unable to fix the issue. It’s like the bulbs are set to the wrong time zone. Seems like should be an easy fix.
