Windows app for cameras

A windows app that lets us organize and view cameras in groups, by recent activity, etc. would be great. Need to be able to run it all the time. Click on the desktop and go right into it without signon. Need diff size thumbnails to full screen. Other features as appropriate. The app on the phone is pretty good. I’m sure a apple app would be appreciated by that group also. This would be a giant step forward for managing security, and for family access.

Many agree. Supposedly, you can use Tiny Cam or an emulator.

Unfortunately you have to pay for what we expected to be freely provided.

You can use Wyze App for iPad natively on the new M1 and M2 (probably on M3 as well)

Macs.

Very nice.

It also works in full screen mode. I wish you could view more than four cameras at the time though.

Very impressive.

Has been discussed a few times recently. Windows has a native Android emulator called Windows Subsystem for Android however they are going to stop supporting it next year. If you install it now, you should be able to keep using it from what I’ve read. It is probably the best solution as it uses a HyperV virtual machine to essentially run native android on your PC.

They also have something called Microsoft Phone Link which displays your phone on your PC. So it still runs through your phone and the phone has to be on the network, but will accomplish what you want also. That is built in to Win 10 and up automatically and you just install an app on your phone, so a relatively easy solution.

There are also various 3rd party android emulators out there, some better than others. All seem to have their glitches but some work pretty well.
