Do the SD card recordings employ FIFO, that is, what happens when the card fills up? Does it stop recording, does it overwrite previous files? I cannot find the answer in the forum.

You can also check out the Support pages for lots of information. Here is one that talks about sd card usage and says that when the cards are getting full, they overwrite the oldest files.
