What is the difference in the leak sensor vs leak probe? What are the use cases for either or both together.
I think the probe is to push it into areas that you normally couldn’t get the sensor into.
You can also mount the sensor higher for signal strength and let the probe to the detection.
Very good information.

The probe is an accessory that attaches to the sensor if you want to relocate the “sensing” contacts.
With the sensor only. The contacts are on the bottom of the unit.
If you connect the probe, you now also have a remote pair of sensing contacts that can be away from the sensor body and it’s electronics etc.
Hi Omgitstony,
So when adding the probe, you have now “effectively” four sensing points? (2 on the probe + 2 on the sensor itself?)
Effectively 2. A pair of contacts = 1 sensing point.
Like @Seapup stated, each group of contacts is one sensing location. The water creates the conductive link between each contact point (2 on sensor body, 2 on the probe) which then closes the “loop” or circuit triggering the leak alert.
