Addressing the original question:
As others have said, there isn’t one, but there is a Wishlist topic requesting this:
You’re encouraged to visit that topic, vote for it (click/tap the Vote button above the initial post), and include your own comments about why you think Wyze should implement this. I understand why they wouldn’t, because they’re in the practice of adding/changing features fairly frequently with app and firmware updates, so something static like a PDF might have limited utility and become dated pretty quickly, but I could see something like that or more robust in-app tutorials being useful to someone who’s new to a particular product.
Although we’re primarily a user-to-user support community, many of us genuinely enjoy helping, and I like seeing this kind of feedback, so thank you for sharing that.
Like @habib said, sometimes you just kind of have to play around with these things to understand how they work. They’re fairly intuitive (I think) once you start tapping, but if your previous experience is with earlier Wyze Cam models with the “old” UI, then I can definitely understand the frustration.
First of all, you mentioned the controls in the strip below the live view pane with SD Card on the left and Turn Off on the far right, so apparently you’ve learned that you can swipe left and right there to reveal more controls. A lot of people seem to miss that (it’s not as obvious as it could be), so good for you for getting that far! The other buttons:
- Take Photo: Takes a still photo of the live view pane and saves it to the Album.
- Record: Records a video clip from the live view pane and saves it to the Album.
- Smart Focus: When enabled (the icon will be green instead of grey), will zoom an area of motion within the live view pane and appear to track it as it moves.
- Siren: This is the thing many parents who use these as baby monitors grumble about because it’s easy to tap accidentally and produce an unhappy child.
- Album: This is where you find the photos and videos you’ve saved when using the Take Photo and Record features above.
- Timelapse: Creates a still image capture montage as a video over a user-defined period of time with captures at a user-defined interval.
