How well does that attitude work in the Navy?
Great when you are in charge and have friends (Superiors) in very high (top of the line) places and you are the only one that can get the job done. The Chief of Naval Operations, The Naval Inspector General and the Chief of Naval Personnel don’t just call up any mid-grade Mustang Officers like me every day, but they all called me three times to go do some difficult task ( which means they were screwing me over) I worked for them all when they were young officers and I was an enlisted member and they never forgot me saving their A$$es and their jobs.
I basically got to do things my way (any damn way I pleased) to be successful and get the task done.
Howzabout a pic of you in your heyday hauling on the bowline or some such? My mind’s eye is a little cloudy this morning.
