Since there is no dashboard for battery usage in the battery cameras. I suggest adding the current battery percentage within event clips. Just like adding the wyze logo in clips. Give an option for users to toggle it on or off. Allowing users to keep track of power levels through out the day.
A battery status display might be useful if viewing live, but a recorded clip? Say I view the clip 4 hours later. Of what use is it?
Currently, if users want a better understanding of the power usage and solar input in the cameras. The only option for wyze cams is to constantly log on the camera and take live screen shots!? Eufy and reolink have battery dashboards in the app keeping hourly logs of the power levels. This could be helpful for finding the optimal solar panel position or preparing for a major weather events. May even help troubleshoot a defective unit. Designing a dedicated battery dashboard would take far more time and resources then simply adding the battery info in the clips. Even if there were a battery dashboard I believe users would still go back to review event clips to check what was causing a power spike.

You mean the tab under “Devices”? That’s only showing the live status. What if I want to know how much solar I’m getting during certain hours? Or why certain times of the day the battery drops so much? What if I’m busy and can’t catch everything live?
No, show the group, and the member camera display should show the battery status.

Say it’s 9am, you have a conference, you’re busy and you can’t view your cameras. At noon, you’re finally free and see the clip recorded at 9am. How useful is that battery status recorded 3 hours earlier?
A log for checking how battery levels are changing throughout the day is useless?
It is to me. I only need it to tell me when to replace or charge the battery. After all, battery usage isn’t linear.
