Has anyone modified the floor lamp to make it shorter? I didn’t pay close enough attention when I ordered mine, and thought it could serve as either a floor lamp or a table top lamp. Perhaps I could remove the middle tube, but I think I would have to cut the cord to do that.
Anyone done that, or have other ideas?
