My app on my android phone is also communicating with that china address, so not only is your base station but the app itself is trying to hit it as well. I take stuff like this seriously, i will be considering removing all 30 or so wyze devices from my life…
Hmmm, back to the same old tricks. They told me they own the Firmware and the development team is US Based. If that is the case, why can’t they control this pinging out to a China DNS servers? Have you reported this to customer service? The last time I did it got escalated.

I see that they all have “security improvements” in the descriptions.

I have the battery cam pros, floodlight pros, and V3 pros. From what I can tell from my unifi router it is the app itself. Another user on here point the same thing

Update - I got a email that they are working on this with multiple teams. I also pointed them to this thread multiple times so hopefully they check it out.

I have noticed I quit receiving the block notification on my router since 9:00AM CST yesterday, wonder if they fixed it in the background.
Blocks started happening again and they closed my ticket for some reason went to reply to it and got a bounce back it was closed
Just noticed my video doorbell pro is trying to hit 114.114.114.114, and also 223.5.5.5 (Alsoft, China). The app on my android phone is trying to hit 114.114.114.114. Both blocked by the geo block on my firewall (my phone app is when my phone is on my wifi).
Can you open a ticket with WYZE support, they closed my original so I opened another maybe if they get hit with more tickets about the same issue they will take steps to correct it.
