IMPORTANT: Terms of Service and Security Updates - 1/6/22

You have to be more transparent here. For some people this will mean failed updates and climbing on icy snowy ladders to reset cameras and try card flashing in mid air in the dead of winter. When you say "latest* do you mean only the absolutely latest firmware will be supported? When exactly will previous firmware stop working with Wyze services? Is there a current exploit or threat that leaves any part of Wyze systems or user activity vulnerable? 3b. If so, why is the service still…

1. When you say "latest* do you mean only the absolutely latest firmware will be supported?
2. When exactly will previous firmware stop working with Wyze services?
3. Is there a current exploit or threat that leaves any part of Wyze systems or user activity vulnerable?

3b. If so, why is the service still allowed to those vulnerable machines? Why not cut them off NOW

We never received a response, despite reposting the question several times.

Chickens, rooosting, no one else to blame, etc., etc.

Opacity is never the right choice.
