Is you is or is you aināt a thinker?
Imagine a supercomputer (Ć la Deep Thought) with AAI called āpeep Thoughtā and what it might devise!
it would certainly be āfey,ā Iām afraid.
So many definitions from which to choose!
Open AI is too busy preparing for his eminence āRokoās Basiliskā first.

Yoko had a bad-a-lisp, too. 'Til she girlfriended John.
They overcame a lot together.
They had this weird peacenik foreplay: She would chitter madly right into his earhole. He would flinch, fall back, then pummel her flat.
Beat the heck out of the bed-in, though. You were lucky not to be there.
It was unnecessary to consult with any other āIā to write this. Holy human.
Ringworm?
Thanks! I like it even better with the DorkDark theme (I assidentally typed āDorkā but then decided to leave it; probably fits), especially as a contrast to the notification count:
When I use a profile picture with green or blue in it, I find myself looking up to that corner of the browser window much more frequently, thinking somethingās waiting for me. The reddish ring isnāt as distracting to my peripheral vision, and itās a fun experiment as Iāve been playing with SVG radial gradients.
2024-12-19T03:25:02Z Edit: I had a moment of clarity, realized where Iād previously thought about things the wrong way, and fixed it (itās a āfixā to my thinking, anyway), so now it looks better and cleaner (I think) on both light and dark backgrounds.
And all of this with my own naturally-semi-intelligent making the mistakes, noodling through problems, and devising solutions!
Ehā¦tomorrow itās apt to be different. For sure Friday (donation day, so gotta go bleed).
Ok, so, I changed my profile picture, and I thought the background would be transparent. And itās not. Anyone know how to do that?
A good photo editor. GIMP is pretty good. I think Andriod now has that option.
@Crease knows
The checkerboard pattern is an indication that whoever created the source image was attempting to simulate a transparent background but not actually make that easily available, so I just used GIMP to select and remove most of it. Itās not super clean, in part becauseā¦
- Iām not a graphic artist by anyoneās definition: Iām a hack tinkerer with some curiosity and stubbornness.
- The initial image isnāt high resolution, but I grabbed the largest one I found.
I started with this:
Thatās what Iāve tended to use, though Iāve also played some with Inkscape when playing with some non-photo images. For pure SVGs, though (like the origin of my current profile picture), I just use a text editor.[1]
Thatās a good call about the phone, too, because I think some Google and Samsung phones (and likely others) have editing tools that make things like this pretty easy, which got me thinkingā¦.
A simple Web search of photo edit remove background
returned remove.bg, so I pasted https://sea2.discourse-cdn.com/wyze/user_avatar/forums.wyze.com/towelkingdom/288/107238_2.png
into that and got this:
That oneās even cleaner (itās apparent when using the Forumās Dark theme). Thatās what Iād probably use.
He knows that sometimes requests for assistance donāt produce the expected results.
I still have to process that through something elseāI use GIMP for thatāto produce a PNG with transparency, because the Forum doesnāt accept SVGs, but I start with a hand-coded SVG. ā©ļø
Thank you so much!
I knew you could do it.
I believe on Android you can click and hold the main image to make a sticker with a transparent background.
I generally use Paint Shop Pro or GIMP for image alterations.
Good work.
Youāre welcome!
Thanks!
I really like learning more about how to use GIMP, too, but in this case the Web-based tool was the true āeasy buttonā. The result was faster and cleaner than what I know how to do with the tools I tend to use.
It is amazing that white backgrounds now hurt my eyes.
