After an update (i’m unsure when) the interface for the app does not handle playback like it used to. It shows the events within the playback, but rather than being able to freely view the playback it locks onto the events that are saved.
I have one cam on Cam Plus Lite and it isn’t showing the playback option anymore.
They say to contact support but have a chat and a number to call, wish they had a ticket support type system.
Also i cannot even update my Front Cam that is on Cam Plus around the same time, but the Cam plus light one does. Give us a Legacy UI setting.
I believe PlayBack in the old Wyze App took you to the SD card. The latest Wyze App PlayBack is now labeled SD card. Just confirming this is not the confusion.
I cannot scroll while in landscape mode (sideways), and i found out that they defaulted my settings on the camera, so it removed cam plus lite, and my settings which is why i couldn’t do it.
When having issues, i have found it best to check both p,aces (in the Wyze App and the Wyze web site) to make sure all my cameras have a checked box in my Cam P,us Lite service.
They do, but it’s not obvious, because they want everyone to use the chatbot first. If you tell the chatbot create ticket, it should present you with a rudimentary form to enter your contact information and a very brief (one line) problem description. If you do that, then their system should generate a ticket number and an automated response, and the first support response will likely be from another robot. If you reply to that e-mail message with a more detailed description of your problem, then the subsequent responses should be handled by human agents.
They probably have data that shows how this handles a certain percentage of user issues without Wyze having to get humans involved from their side, but I think it creates a cumbersome and potentially very frustrating user experience from the consumer side. I can’t say that I’m a huge fan.
As for your specific questions regarding Cam v3’s UI and the Cam Plus Lite subscription stuff, I’ll leave those to others, because I’ve never owned that product or subscription.
