Did the Forest Kitty get his new snow supply ?

Good idea. But shouldnā€™t the IR light be aimed at the numbers instead of beside them? Or will it catch them?

The green lit LED is the indicator, the camera is looking at the side of meter on the PMTS.

it went from no lights to a green one once power came back on, was watching for that

No power = No Lit LEDā€™s

The camera normally sits on to of the panel for a view of my detached garage, but during the power failure I move it to see the meter indicator lights

As a mechanic, any appliance or for that fact, anything that broke in the house was fair game to repair attempts.
Before Al Gore invented the internet, these repairs were done blindly. I always say ā€˜broke is brokeā€™.
Several times the device was really kaput. Like when something detonated in the washing machine transmission on the spin cycle and cracked the case.
Your new dryer probably wonā€™t last as long as the one it replaced. Appliances are not as durable as they used to be. Most people are reserved to think ā€˜well, the refrigerator was 10 years oldā€¦ā€™ when they forget the one it replaced was probably much older.
A good example : In 1957 my parents bought a house that was built in 1890. No AC. My father bought a Philco Ford window AC unit. It was used a lot, and when they sold the house in 2000, it was still pumping ice cubes. My father worked for White-Rodgers and was told by an engineer to never touch the thermostat on the air conditioner. Set it and leave it.
That is why you said to yourself ā€˜I never heard of Philco Fordā€ because people only bought one. No planned obsolescence.
The big + to buying a new appliance versus repairing on older model is the energy savings. And if the woman of the house says it is time for a new x y z, we men just salute and make it happen.

I previously repaired my old washing machine agitator with $8.00 worth of parts with help of a YouTube video but that machine was old also and eventually got replaced. My standby mechanic said he was to busy to fix the dryer, he was doing this:

If that is not a turn of guilt I donā€™t know what it isā€¦ This is out-freaking-standing!
Thanks for sharing this one @Antoniusā€¦ This needs to be in the Wyze newsletter!

Wanna make bad actors think againā€¦ :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:! Ope, just gonna go back the way I came. Dur De Dur De Dur

Well maybe not. :hushed: :hushed: The camera is a V3 Pro with the spotlight turned off because I get a brighter and better video that way. The flood light is an older model 180 degree Defiant Motion Flood Light I installed 8 years ago (2015), detects motion up to about 50 feet. It is mounted on the other side of my garage door to the left of the V3 Pro. I donā€™t remember the lumens but it will may your pupils slam shut if you look into it.

Still captured on Wyze

I feel like a better less obvious response would have been to start jogging in place, looking at my watch and taking my pulse via 2 fingers then a slow jog around the cul de sac back the way I cameā€¦ uh nothing to see here, just me getting in them miles .

Dude just did an about face (with a nice arm swing) and hot footed it outta thereā€¦ still laughing about it.

Maybe it was the neighbor checking in the dark to see if he got his garbage can out there and when the lights came on he could see that he had indeed set it out.

They were my garbage cans he was looking at. My neighbor is a single young woman who purchased the house next door to the East of me with her soon to be husband, They got married after the house purchase, and she divorced her goofy husband about 11 months later. She had to buy his half out to keep the house. She is a good honest person as well as her disappointed parents. :disappointed_relieved:
