You took my picture!
I went out yesterday morning and got some on the back side of Vacaville.
We must, indeed, all play together or, most assuredly, we shall all play separately. -JLennon (Imagined)
All the hills around the Bay Area are white. Mount Diablo is the closest to me. Good view from the top on a clear day at Elevation 3,849 feet and everything below is mostly flat. One a clear fall day you can see SF and the Golden Gate Bridge, about 35-40 miles away. All the roads going up there yesterday were closed because the fools here have no idea how to drive in snow.
Yeah, a lot of people were out there taking pictures like we were. I have a good, clear picture of the golden gate bridge at dusk that I’d taken on a clear day about 20 years ago.
This cottontail rabbit has been hiding out on my patio since Thursday. By the time the snow ended we picked up a fresh 16.7 inches of snow.
Should of borrowed some shoes from its cousin the snowshoe rabbit for easier going.
First time I have seen a Ringtail here!
I’ve never heard off a ringtail, I had to look it up. Looks like a squirrel with big cat ears and a raccoon tail. The information said they were part of the
family.
Yup. Very true. In the beginning we used a big net but they learned to run away as soon as hey saw it. I wished up and just used food (just shake a container of dried black soldier fly larvae) and they’ll come running.
Very cool.
The ringtail hopes to be on the bus to see his relatives at Antonius’ Racoon Resort.
He may travel with a couple of skunk friends, cause you feed them…
The more the merrier except for the s’.
Free ice in California and the 's new skating rink. And I don’t know why the video is upside down if you open in full screen on the here, it plays correct every where else???
I had never seen one of those animals. Sounds like it is fairly common in the southwest.
Same here. The hail came down hard here. Got a couple of shorts on the cam coming down in the birdbath I might upload later. Lasted less than a minute.
