I just got a rpi 4b with 4gb
I wanted to use an ssd to store my Wyze cam footage from that. I don’t have a need (yet) for major network storage and I would only really want the Wyze footage for a month max (the max time I’d ever be away from home)
I’ve read about using an NVR instead but this seems bulky for what I need and where my setup is placed
2.5” SATA SSD can be had on amazon for under $150 with 1Tb and a decent case
I’ve got 3 Wyze cams recording from the garage, front porch and back garden. I’ll connecting everything to home assistant via HASS.IO
