I was getting email notifications when someone replied to my posts on the forum. That seems to have stopped. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to do do to get it turned back on
Maybe you need to check notifications. Top right click on your name/avatar, go to preferences, then to notifications and see if if it is set correctly.
Seems to be set up correctly to me but still not getting email notifications when someone replies to my posts. Any thoughts. ?
2nd that above, check your email preferences and make sure they don’t say “never”, change to your liking.

In addition to those, you may want to check your tracking preferences and make sure that “When I post in a topic, set that topic to” is set to “Watching”.

I did not notice that you had posted an answer to my post because I didn’t get notified of your reply. I used to get notification in my email when someone replied to my question posted on the forum but apparently that’s not happening now. Maybe there’s something in the settings that I’ve messed up. Would you happen to know the answer to this?
@tlhutch4, there are a few things you can check for your Forum notifications:
- If you’re using a browser on a PC, you can click your profile picture in the upper-right corner, then click (Profile), and then in the menu to the left of that you should see a toggle for Pause notifications. The toggle should be off (). This might apply only to notifications in the browser while using the site; I haven’t played with it.
- Navigate to your e-mail preferences and make sure the drop-down box below “Email me when I am quoted, replied to, my @‍username is mentioned, or when there is new activity in my watched categories, tags or topics” is not set to “never”.
- Ensure that the topics you want to be e-mailed/notified about are set to “Watching” ().
I believe I have tried everything that’s been mentioned on this thread to solve my problem, but have not resolved the issue. My problem is that I am no longer getting email sent to me when someone responds to a post that I have placed on the Forum. If someone could take the time to send me screenshots of each step that I need to take in sequence to get this problem fixed I would greatly appreciate it. That may be asking for a lot but that’s all I can think of at this point. I tried calling the Wyze helpline and got no help at all. Just a long wait and someone that didn’t really know what to do.
Your forum profile/account settings itself must be set to never receive emails. It’s not your topic settings (like in your screenshot).
Go into your account preferences in the forum, click on the “email” tab and change your settings to your desired settings.
I post that yesterday also. Mine is set to never because I don’t want emails and I told him to make sure his is turned on.

Sorry if it took a while for me to get this corrected. As always help from this thread is appreciated. I think I’ve got it right now thanks to the help from this thread, but I guess I won’t be sure until I post something and get a reply notification is email.
