New Person Detection Feedback

Trying to figure out how to disable my CMC without cancelling so I can test PD. Anyone know. However I am noticing a lot of crashes of the app as well as cams are having a hard time syncing to the phone with the beta app on it.

In the app go to Account in the lower right, then WYZE Services, then Complete Motion Capture, towards the bottom you will see ‘Assign Cameras’ click on that then click on the ‘-’ by the one you wish to remove, then Save. This will keep your subscription in tact but remove the camera from it until you want to add it again.

I made a video showing how to disable them without canceling. Hope it helps

Can I remove all the cams as you described above and keep the subscription? Or should I just test PD on one cam only.

You can do it however you choose. You don’t need to cancel the subscription.

As @Bealezebub said you can remove them all, I constantly am juggling them around to perform different testing scenarios.

I posted in the incorrect area about person detection prior. Sorry  Is there a trick or something that I need to do to get person detection working, (besides the obvious) I have reset all my cameras, turned person detection on and off, set sensitivity to MAX, and I’m not getting anything, not even a false positive, I walked out in front of the camera, and it just records a complete motion capture :frowning:

edit: I also walked in front of one of my cameras that is not subscribed to complete motion capture

You have to turn CMC off for PD to work currently.

On all cameras? So I wont be able to use CMC on one camera if I want to use Person detection on another?

I believe it has to be off on all but let’s call the mavens in to be sure. I don’t work for Wyze just read a lot.

Yeah I know you dont work for them, its just weird that I would have to disable a service that I pay for to use one that is free lol

edit: I appreciate the info

I don’t know the reason. They can probably explain. But I do know it must be disabled. We went through this in another thread with a women who couldn’t figure it out. It was CMC wasn’t disabled

Going to go try it out now, be back in a jif!

I think it takes a bit for it to kick in.

Yep, Works like a Charm after I disabled CMC, Note: I only have 1 camera Subscribed to CMC, it looks as though you need to have it disabled period for Person Detection to work on any cams, but for now I rather have person detection than CMC, Thanks again for your info @paindonthurt

You only have to turn CMC off on the camera you want to test Person Detection on CMC can remain on for any other cameras that you are not testing Person Detection.

Great information to know

I have confirmed this aswell. cmc is on some of my cameras facing outdoors, but other cameras ( that dont currently have CMC) are successfully using PD.

PD working pretty well for me on 8 cams (V2) so far. Some false positives on branch shadows, hopefully improves over time. Limited testing so far but I would say its already about the same quality as the previously available on camera offering. Hopefully full roll-out won’t slow things down or impact stability. Pleasently surprised!
