How would I set the motion sensor to turn on a plug connected to a lamp when I enter a room and then turn the plug/lamp off when I exit the room?
1 . You can set a rule to turn on the plug when the motion sensor has detected motion.
2 . You can set another rule to turn off the plug after it “has been on for” x amount of time , like 3min , 10 min etc .
Alternate number 2 , . You can set another rule to turn off the plug after motion sensor “has been clear for” x amount of time

I was able to simply solve the problem. I created a rule to turn off the plug to my lamp by having it “turn off the plug when the sensor is clear.”
