‘Matter’ Smart Home Standard

Since I am in the Apple universe, it is an issue installing something that is not HomeKit compatible. In the wishlist, this is labelled ‘probably not’.

I never thought this would happen, but Amazon, Google and Apple got together and agreed on a standard. If Wyze would do the updates to make their products compatible with Matter, then everything should play nice together.

Is this under consideration? There is a topic posted in 2021, but no updates since.

Last I am aware, the Matter standards for cameras has not been released. Some manufacturers are releasing devices based on not yet adopted standards (hoping the standard does not change too much). That can be risky.
Once the standard is adopted, there is at least some word from Wyze that they will at least consider adopting it.
