Does anyone know the type of DC Barrell Connector used on the 120VAC / 12VDC Power Supply for the 32.8ft Light Strip?
I need to extend the power cable by 3-4 feet and I can’t use a 120V extension cable due to space. There seem to be a number of 12V DC Barrell extension cables available but they vary based on the inner barrel and outer barrel dimensions (eg 5.5mm x 2.1mm or 5.5mm x 2.5mm).
I’ve asked Wyze but they tell me the connector is not spec’d

I don’t happen to know, and I’m not sure where to find that information, but I can try measuring with a digital caliper later if you think that would be helpful.

I think it’s 5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.1 mm inner diameter.
Caliper on the outer diameter is easy and measures ~5.5[1] mm. When I measured a 5/64″ drill bit that I can stick into the connector, I was getting ~2.0 mm on the caliper, but that had a slight bit of wiggle room while it was inside the connector. I measured a ~2.5 mm (actually right at 2.50 mm) nail and tried to stick that in, and it wouldn’t fit into the connector.
Does that narrow it down enough? I don’t know enough about these things to have an idea of what common sizes are available, but I’m willing to try to find other things to measure and stick in the connector if that would be useful.

Absolutely - that is the answer i needed - I’ll order the 5.5mm x 2.1mm extender cable.
