Sitting in my home office and I looked out with side over to my neighbor’s house knowing that we were supposed to have a storm come through and I noticed a large branch resting on his newly installed privacy fence not far from his Corvette. Upon reviewing video I did find that it just missed the vet luckily, and only minor damage to the fence, of all the times a large branch comes down there wasn’t even strong wind at this point! That V4 with a monthly format of the card has run flawlessly for quite some time now. Stay vigilant if nothing else but for your neighbors lol
One too many raindrops? ![]()
That thing looked like it came from up high, too!
Yep, tomorrow we will look for more that appears to be a possible issue, should be interesting
This guy wasn’t so lucky. It happened on the street next to the golf course we were playing at during a crazy wind strom, eucalyptus trees falling all over. One tree even fell on a Police car at the same scene. ![]()
Whoa! Wisconsin tornado by chance?!?! Holy cow
No, this was in California. We get those crazy wind storms sometimes. The year before one took down a large 30 year old almond tree in my front yard after a heavy rain. Lucky for me the tree fell just short of my fence.
I’m glad it worked out in your favor, a few years ago I had a funnel cloud go through my backyard and my backyard only taking down a tree knocking my fence down and trashing a trailer. Luckily good insurance covered everything and I actually got paid to clean everything up and fix the trailer. But definitely not a good feature. On the upside of that one though having all my cameras, I did capture it on numerous cameras and ended up during a Fox news interview because of it. The interesting turn of events. A few meteorologist wanted to use the footage to show how localized that type of storm can be so I gladly obliged.
