Started out a girl kid and her little brother would both do the ‘hedge dash’ each time they passed with Mom on a walk. After a while, the girl kid tired of it, but the boy kid never did.
When they started, the top of the boy kid’s head was well below the hedge line - I think he liked the ‘tunnel’ aspect of it. Now he sees over the tops of the ‘trees’ but still squeals with the same delight!
