Has the Wyze Thermostat been discontinued?

Walmart or Bestbuy seem to have instock and on shelves… Would be nice to know if or when back in stock or if new version is coming?

I need to order 7 more of these. We put them in rentals and they work magic. Please Wyze, give us an indicator to hold tight and wait (something’s coming), or order at third party.

I have not heard they are discontinued but I do not know when we will have more stock either.

Can we have a fall 2025 update? I am seeing that thermostat and sensors are all out of stock. They also are not listed in the smart Home section you have to search for them. It would be really great if there was an official statement if these products have been discontinued.

Agreed. The Wyze thermostat is a desired device, hopefully will be available again. There’s real interest in adaptation to operate in the 12 volt range to utilize in RV applications. The remote feature, specifically Bluetooth operation would be a great selling point as many RV owners need a local remote.

Is there a substitute tstat from an alternate supplier that will work with the wyze app?

I had one zapped by lightning a couple weeks ago I’ve been trying to replace. If you google this question, AI says it’s discontinued:

“Yes, the Wyze Thermostat has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. Wyze confirmed that the product “is no longer available and won’t be coming back”. You can still find replacement part kits for some older versions, but the main thermostat is out of stock on the Wyze website.

  • Product Status: The product is discontinued.

  • Availability: It is no longer available for purchase through the official Wyze website.

  • Future: There are no plans to bring the product back.”

But then if you chat on Wyze,com, the chat bot says it doesn’t know when they’ll be in stock, and to click notify me when back in stock.

The level of detail on the AI answer leads me to believe it’s not coming back.
