Since Sep 15 when Wyze App updated to v3.22.0 (973) killed the access to the Wyze Thermostat. This is very annoying due to the fact that I have a couple of them. I understand that Wyze decided to terminate the production of Wyze Thermostat but WHY are you TERMINATING the cloud support for the thermostat. You are alienating a LOT of PEOPLES. From the beginning the thermostat was a problematic one and we bought into it.
I need an ANSWER.
We are aware of this info and should have a fix very soon. I apologize for the frustration.
After experiencing the thermostat offline issue ever since it was installed, and now the app showing the thermostat as offline even though it’s not, I’ve given up and switched to a better thermostat.
What brand did you get. I am tired of Wyze issues.
Wyze issued a pretty quick fix to this issue (app version 3.22.1.979), And then they promptly broke it again apparently in another app update (version 3.23.x.xxx). I am glad I didn’t update anything since that initial fix. At this point Wyze is a joke, seriously. How do you issue a fix and then break it again?
