My Grandmother made these every Christmas. You had to soak them in milk to soften them up they were so hard. My Mom still makes them, just less flour so they are much softer.

Ritz crackers and peanut butter is great. Not a cookie but I love peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.
Local ice cream (actually custard) store has chocolate bacon concretes. No thanks.
