Create a shortcut (widget) of my Wyze device

I’d like to get a shortcut to my scale on my homepage so I don’t have to open the wyze app and scroll through my device list to find it

Create a Wyze “widget” on your phone’s homepage and link the widget to your Wyze Scale:

  • From your Android device, long-press an unused spot on your home screen.
  • Tap the Widgets icon.
  • Swipe through the list of available widgets and select Wyze.
  • Long-press the “Device 2x2” widget and drop it on your home screen.
  • Adjust widget size and prefered home screen location.
  • Deselect the widget by tapping any unused area on the screen.
  • Tap the widget and select your Wyze Scale to link to the widget.
  • Back out of the Wyze app to your phone’s home screen.
  • Now when you tap the widget, it will take you directly to your Scale in the Wyze app.

This is great, but why oh why does it have to be 2X2 ? It’s way too big. Can we please have a standard 1X1 widget like millions of other apps !
