C wire adapter install with splices at the control board

Conventional AC and propane furnace. Trying to install the tstat, current wiring requires c-adapter….Tried moving wires immediately connected to the control board to the adapter, got power to the tstat but app doesn’t finishing adding device correctly (last step “adding device” perma-loads, force closing the app then leaves a bunk device on my list (“temperature is 0 degrees”, “humidity null %”.)

Noticed when installing the adapter that a couple of the wires were joined with wire nuts just before they connect to the control board. Decided to give this a closer look when installation failed and upon further inspection I am not able to make sense of aforesaid splicings in relation to the wires present at the thermostat/should they ought to correlate to the adapter

You have a float switch on your R wire, which will interrupt power to your thermostat if your condensate drain is clogged. Not shown on diagram.
Your wire map is as follows:

Note that your green wire needs to be connected to C on your wyze and G on your C adapter.
During setup, tell the app that you have the following wires on your old thermostat:
R, G, Y, W
Also, if you ever need to re-configure your thermostat in the app, you will need to use those 4 wire choices, even though the green wire is on C.
