A little to cool for me

I live in Canada and still haven’s been there. It is on my bucket list though

Very scenic and enjoyable.

If you can, see the following:

Columbia Icefields Skywalk
Columbia Glacier Fields
Lake Louise
Moraine Lake
Banff Gondola
Sulphur Mountain Gondola
Jasper
Calgary.

I flew into and out of Calgary to see Glacier National Park in the US and Canada. I am sure I missed some important sites.

Very beautiful area.

I was trying to remember who the ‘Speedee’ mascot belonged to. I guessed USPS. Nope.

I drove the entire road 5 times. Very scenic both ways. It’s a bit dark at night. I remember you said you’ve been there.

Although not a mascot.

Pretty much forced  to post this now… blame Steve!

An American expat friend lives in a temperate Mexican town dominated by Canadian snowbirds. Their favorite thing to say is:

‘We only come here for the weather.’

The natives have made it their catch phrase when rolling their eyes at gringos behind their backs. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m not even going to ask, tell it to MFP when he arrives at your house. I sent him via CatEX with the two :raccoon: :raccoon: and :skunk: :skunk:

Varmints and deadbeat kitties always welcome. We can trade war stories.

I really was stupid excited about my first cheap fast food burger. I remember walking a fair distance to the first franchise in town with my mouth watering.

I was pretty excitable in general. This jingle got me going:

Wow, we got color TV, RCA Victor color TV, a something something something, NOW, WOW!, we got COLOR TV, WOW!, we got color TV, WOW!!   :notes:

…and after a brief pester campaign (didn’t take much folks wanted it too but they weren’t as goofy) we brung one home. I remember that night as an EVENT. :tada:

A friend of mine moved to Lake Luise some twenty years ago to manage a ski resort. He’s still there and happy as clam

I can understand that. I walked around the lake and followed the stream for half a mile, from afternoon til evening. It was cool, but a lovely walk in July, watching the people canoe on the light blue waters. :canoe::sun_with_face:
