Wyze Thermostat Compatibility?

Hi All,

I was naive and did not check Wyze thermosta compatibility prior to ordering. Love Wyze products and just assumed there would be a way to make it work with what I have. I guess my system is probably really old. Picture attached.

So two question, can some verify for me that the thermostat is NOT compatible with my system, and if not, can I return this?

No, it’s not compatible with only 2 wires but there is a solution if you want to make it work. You’ll need to buy a 24v transformer that’s plugs into the wall and wire to the Wyze thermostat.

Couldn’t hurt to remove the old thermostat’s backplate.
There might be 3 to 5 wires in the cable sheath inside the wall.
