Wirecutter No Longer Recommends Wyze Cameras

I own 3 Wyze cameras. I am concerned for my privacy that Wirecutter (the New York Times consumer recommendation division) used to rate Wyze cameras as the most recommended but has recently reversed the recommendation over privacy concerns as they feel Wyze is not protecting their customers and people can watch customers videos. What is Wyze doing to fix this situation? I want to be able to trust that my home monitoring is private.
