Users who viewed the videos from someone else’s cams are not being counted as impacted because it wasn’t video from their cams being viewed by others. The only users in the impacted group were those whose cam video was viewed by others. 10 users were identified using detailed web logs as having their video stream shared with a number of other users.
The Wyze Post in Wyze Web View Service Advisory - 9/8/2023 indicates "up to 2,300 users who logged in to the online web viewing portal may have seen cameras from one of the 10 affected users who had also logged in during that time."
I have no information as to if this was isolated to a specific cam type for any of the 10 users. The only mention of it has been within this thread. However, just because the Wyze Cam Outdoor has “Outdoor” in its name, it isn’t restricted to being used only outdoors. Many users employ WCO cams indoors. However, according to the Wyze Web View FAQ, the Wyze Cam Outdoor is incompatible with Live Streaming in Wyze Web View. It is highly unlikely the incident was isolated to a single cam type or the WCO.
