UFO, UAP, or just SpaceX?

OK, what the heck over God’s green earth was that!
The slower one was taken in real time on my iPhone. The Speeded up version was from one of my security cameras just to show it path from stock to finish.
I was watching disguise for the meteor shower and caught this!
Any suggestions???
This contains two clips from my V4 cameras and some clips from my iPhone 16 Pro Max

We need Fox Mulder to chime in

Honestly, you got me stumped. At first I thought it is low flying plane but then…

I know my jaw dropped! We sat out there on the porch and watched this thing slowly cruise across the sky and wondered, what in the heck is this then this morning we saw posts from all over the country from Wisconsin, Iowa, Canada, New Jersey! Everyone saw the same thing

Hey, Canada is not part of your country

Oh, the de-orbit! That makes sense, and thanks for sharing a source! I read about the rocket launch earlier, but the timing didn’t make sense for what @nikrib was showing in the timestamp at the beginning of the video. Knowing that it was something returning from orbit makes a whole lot more sense. :+1:

“It was in all likelihood the second stage of an Ariane 6 rocket which was igniting its engine in order to de-orbit itself after having released the European satellite Metop-SGA1 in a polar orbit,”

Yes, that’s what I read in the article @habib shared.

Not yet, anyway.

My boys :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: :raccoon: were trying out their new mode of transportation they built in the storm drain across the street. :rocket:

For flying sign language? That’s how they plan to disseminate their propaganda?

Keep on dreaming

I think we would make an amazing team! I’ve never met a Canadian I didn’t like!

Thanks, very kind of you. I think we’ll stay north of the border. I don’t have an issue with any Americans I’ve come across either, it’s the orange guy that rubs me the wrong way

I will vote, Space X. Could be unused fuel that froze and reflecting the sun’s rays. Thanks for posting.

It was 1030 at night. It looks like the timing coincides with the return of stage two booster and the retro rockets fired to slow it down on its reentry. This is why it was not increasing an altitude and seemed to be a parallel horizontal path to ground.

It’s a drone!

ULA Vulcan Rocket Launch. I heard about it and checked my v4 and v3 that cover the sky and looked for events at the time told. It looked fake when I saw the events! It was so wild to have seen (secondhand via my cams) a rocket launch in northern IL!!

Unfortunately the timing and the path are completely wrong!
