Set Up Cam Pan

I have been trying to set up a cam pan for over a week. I got two cameras set up but for some reason the cam pan just won’t read the bar code. I reset the device and have tried everything the troubleshooting guide says.
Any assistance would be appreciated. I have tried and tried to get in touch with a human being at Wyze but all i get are…no agents available.

Silly question, but did you remove the little piece of plastic film that covers the camera lens for shipping?

This morning I changed the cable and used the iPad instead of my phone and it scanned.
