Good Question. I also cannot FILTER on the EVENTS tab on the new AI sections as per the email sent?
I also canāt filter in the events section, maybe they could add that through server update idk

For Facial Recognition, youāll need to label the faces before they are detected by the algorithm. This can be done through Account > People > Manage Faces. After youāve labeled the known people, youāll be able to see the recognition results in the Events tab.
Ok Iāve started labeling videos as āpeopleā and āfacesā based off what you and the email described this should start the algorithm for future videos to start recognizing faces. Thanks

Do you have to ONLY label āfaceā or can you do āfaceā and āpersonā because thats what ive been doing, will the faces show if I start labelling as only āfaceā? Or will it start recognizing from that point on rather then uploading faces from old clips?
Iām not sure yet , I am just labeling faces with the personās name
Well the thing is that iām just trying to figure out is why there are no faces in the āPeopleā > āManage Facesā tab. I canāt label if theres nothing to label, probably tomorrow iāll see faces I can label in the āPeopleā tab.
You have to walk in front of the camera then the face will show up and then you can label it

I donāt know yet exactly where we are supposed to get information about this test from wyze when we have questions
Only unknown faces show up in manage faces , once you label them they are no longer in manage faces
Alright so I just have to wait for the camera to detect faces now I guess because 4 people walked in front of it after I got the new AI but there are no faces I can label under manage faces right now.
I think the Camera has to clearly see their face , I walked up and looked right at the camera, face showed up.
I also think like most things with the cameras it does not work as good in low light

Already sent feedback but wanted to share. I just love this new vehicle. Wondering if anyone knows: Is this a hybrid? haha
One thing I think should be rectified is that if the cam alerts to person then that āpersonā should be moving. We have a statue in our front yard that Iām getting constant person alerts to. Maybe a blank space that goes with other for something that not in a category included. And maybe add wildlife or just animal since this will be used in the future for the WOC and V3s. I donāt think every bird or bug detected by the cam will be a āpetā lol
Oh and my cat Treasure was detected as me.
Ok hereās a bit of an update. I went back to putting all my cams on beta and you can indeed still test the new AI features. However to make use of face recognition you have to use a public release of the app which I have on my one phone. I went back because the amount of missing fragment and fail to upload errors were worse then before I had the cams on beta.

Ok itās working! Me and my sister looked directly at it and it picked up our faces just fine
So the facial recognition works I just I hope they improve it because as of right now it only picked up our faces when we stared directly at the camera, but my camera on my porch is on a bit of an angle so it hasnāt been picking up the faces that just walk by, but the package detection is working good on it. Also I had to switch back to public version because everything works on beta app except facial recognition. Hope the facial recognition gets better in future updates (i know it will like person detection did) but its good for now!
