Night Light PIR sensor? What/where is this? Internal?

Was looking at the Wyze Night Light to put in a dark stair case project. I would not want to use the light sensor since this area would always be dark and the lights would likely be on 24/7 shredding the battery to pieces.

The description “With a PIR motion sensor, the light will turn on only when motion is detected.” Is this internal to the unit or purchased separately…?

If not internal, is it the same sensor as in the Home Monitoring Kit? I wouldn’t want to pay for a monitoring service just to use a night light. My guess is it’s internal. Not clear looking at the pics.

It has an internal sensor that will turn the lights on

In addition, to what @WyzeJasonJ indicated, you would set the switch to Auto so it only comes on when there is motion
