Maybe give us an advance option to +90/180/270 degree rotation to apply on top of the device sensor in the settings?
That is because so far we have only started to get this rolling out to iPad users on the 2.42 beta.

I am testing the beta on my iPad Pro. So far your App still a bust. I still have to flip back and forth between portrait and landscape. I was so hoping to that app version would work and begin buying more of your cameras. So for now I’m saving my money. Which means less sales for Wyze.
Please fix landscape mode on the iPad, so the view is more centered on the display, instead of showing a blank area on top of the video feed. I noticed this only happens when in live view, when watching a recorded video it’s in the center of the display with back bars above and below it.
Well they have made some progress - at least the home screen is in landscape now. But I would rather have had event review in landscape first (EDIT - I do see event review is now landscape as well, although not always).
It is however maddening how much screen space is wasted in event review on iPad Pro and the tiny thumbnail previews are effectively useless.
I too am an iPad Pro user. Testing the beta and I am not impressed. Wyze should havec done better from day 1.

Agree. Event list is still in portrait but events themselves play in landscape, but … only cover about 2/3 of the width of my iPad screen while playing. Tons of wasted space to the right.
Why is this not fixed yet? It’s been a month already!

I use my iPad with a keyboard and it’s in landscape mode 99% of the time. Please program your apps to make that possible.

basically event viewer goes back and forth between portrait and landscape despite i mounted ipad 9th gen on wall so it always stays in same oreientation.

2nd problem when lighting connector is on the left side, full screen live view goes upside down when i finish viewing playback.
i would like be able use landscape mode with connector on the left because power socket is on the left of ipad mount, so it is easier for me to charge ipad keeping landscape mode with lighting connector on the left
MOD NOTE: Your post has been moved to this in progress wishlist topic. Please be sure to vote. What you are seeing is expected behavior at this point as the project is only partly developed. If you have a more recent iPad, try turning on Stage Manager which will let you view all pages in landscape.
Use landscape options on iOS devices.
I don’t ask for features very often, but when a piece of software regresses on me, I get a annoyed.
The app developer has some sort of portrait hangup. If I’m using landscape mode, don’t make me switch. There’s a reason I’m using that mode.
I use Samsung Dex on my Galaxy Fold Z 5, this is my primary business ‘Desktop’ computer.
I need the Wyze App to be compatible with landscape view, and android multi window.
Can we get an update from the mods on the status of Landscape development for tablets (iPad in my case)? A partial implementation was released several months ago that displays the Home screen in Landscape, but the Events list and other screens are still in Portrait. Another aggravation is that once you view an event, then return to the Home screen, you’re locked in Portrait again. I appreciate the partial implementation, but having the app flip back and forth between Landscape and Portrait is making me dizzy. TIA
Mods are just Wyze users who volunteer time to keep the forum organized and running smoothly. We don’t have access to internal Wyze development schedules or plans.

This is basic functionality.
Your suggestion people with disabilities need landscape view appears kind of insulting.
Grid view does not work on any Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/S9 series.
Using Samsung Labs Landscape mode setting is not workaround, does not change anything.
Also SD card playback for Wyze Battery Cam Pro does not work on these tablets.
Do you actually test app on Samsung tablets?
