Is anyone else still having this issue? I just tried checking my live view (outside of home network) and it will not connect. Had my wife try on her phone (she is at home) and it is working fine. Firmware 4.9.3.60
I am still having issues connecting to my cameras. (Friday afternoon 11/23) At the present time I cannot connect to 3 of 4 of my cameras. I have power cycled my cameras and have logged out and back in. I get the error to power cycle the camera error code -90. Hope this gets resolved! These have been great cameras till now.
I’m in Tokyo, last night (friday night japan time/friday morning US) I could not access cameras from my phone. However, my wife is able to access the lifestream on her phone on the local wifi. It’s been more than 12 hours now. I’m also not getting any alerts.
I am having the same issue today. It is somewhat concerning how often this error 90 happens. Without reliable remote camera viewing the camera is not that valuable.
I have 15 V2 cams. Today, 6 of those 15 will not connect from a different wi-fi network. The other 9 connect from an outside network just fine. If I log back into the local network, I can access all 15 fine.
3 out of 4 cameras not accessible out of network.
it happened 2 hrs ago to my V2. it was still detecting alerts (which i could download) but trying to connect to see the live stream would give the -90 error.
I tried to restart it , via device/restart but i think you need to be logged in first, catch -22
lastly i tried using ifttt to restart it, but that didnt work either
a feature that could be added as a general workaround for all types of problems would be a way of scheduling a restart, not from the app (which needs network) but in the Linux OS running on the Wyzecam.
Mine are back up for now.
Frustrating. One of my cams (of 7) that wouldn’t connect from an outside network now connects. The other 6 do not.
I’m sure we’ll figure this out eventually, but not much is making sense now !
I lost remote access to my camera yesterday (11/23)
This morning it was back online but only for a few hours. I’m getting error 90 again.
(I really wish that software engineers would stop using useless numeric error codes and replace them with useful readable and informative text)
I am currently experiencing this issue. Cannot view live stream outside my local network. They are still making alert recordings, and I am able to view those from outside the network.
Can’t restart tbe cameras, because I am outside the local network and unable to connect to them…
I am currently experiencing connection issues (error 90) on my V2 and Pan cameras. The V1 cameras on my network are fine. I am remote but was able to send someone over to power cycle the cameras & router. That did not work. All cameras have the latest firmware.
Anyone else having live feed connection issues today with the V2 and Pan cameras?
I’m seeing the same on a couple of my V2. Work fine on the local wifi, but error code -90 when I’m anywhere else (cell connection etc.) I believe the Wyze team is aware. Hopefully they can find out what’s going on and resolve soon!
I am still having the issues. Bummer being on travel and no security cameras! Hope this gets resolved soon!
Out of 16 cams, one V2 will not connect (error code 90) even after power cycle. Setting it up again as new got it connected. However, even though connected, LED is still flashing blue. Firmware 4.9.3.60. Then doing a restart from within the app got it back to solid blue.
Wyzecam v2, error code 90. Power cycle does nothing.
Pan cam on same network is working fine.
I still cannot connect , error 90. Any feed back from Wyze admin?
Looks like it happened again
