Just received my Doorbell Pro and unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’ll fit too well on my door frame. It looks like Ring and other cameras have a ton of options for mounting on siding. Anybody got a lead on a siding mount for the Doorbell Pro?
Do you have vinyl siding? I am going to be making one for the Pro. I created one for my previous Wyze. If you have a 3D printer, you can print one for yourself.
I should be done with the new version this week some time. - Marty

I was impatient and just decided to mount it on my door frame with the wedge, which did work. I don’t have access to a 3D printer but your solution does sound very cool!
I just installed the video doorbell pro on my vinyl siding. It pulls on the siding and just doesn’t sit right. I am using my existing doorbell wiring.
I was hoping to use a generic mounting block, but I can’t find one small enough that fits. I don’t have much space between the door frame and a window. It’s like 4 and 1/2 inches width (see attached picture). I wonder if the 3D printed option is a way to go? Have you happen to made any progress on that front yet? I don’t have a 3D printer, but I know there are places that you can upload plans and they will print it for you (for a price, of course). Thank you so much for your help! -Adam
I did update the model for the Pro. It can be found here - Printables
Your vinyl siding is a different kind than the one you have from your picture though. You look like you can use the regular mounts you might just need longer screws to get into to wood so that it doesn’t pull the vinyl.
do a web search for Wyze video doorbell wedge or mounts. You’ll find multiple choices, there’s one for vinyl siding.
