After getting a new 5G modem all my smart devices stopped working.
That’s because they need 2.4GHZ frequency.
In the service providers app I chose to split the 2.4G and 5G manually so that the automatic mode doesn’t drop my smart devices.
My smart lights established reconnection easily.
My WYZE thermostat …not so much.
What finally worked was to delete the device from my Wyse app and essentially reinstall the thermostat . You will go through all the same set up questions you did when you first wired in the thermostat…but it works .
