I agree that this would be useful, and there’s also a work-around for some devices/use cases:

Is there a way to turn off plug when no motion is detected using a camera?

Switching on a plug when motion is detected is very straight forward. Is there a method to switch off the plug after motion is not detected? With the plug on, after a 3 mins of not detecting motion then turn off the plug.
