I’m a farmer on about 120 acres in the middle of the woods. I’m involved with regenerative agriculture on a small scale, mostly growing my food and doing informal research on varieties of plants that work well and produce high quality food. I raise sheep, goats, chickens, and have cats for rodent patrol in the gardens and livestock guardian dogs to protect my livestock from bear, coyote, mountain lion, fox, bobcat, etc. I grow vegetables, medicinal and culinary herbs, fruits, nuts and mushrooms. I’m outside a lot and I love my life so much.
