Computer Software Consulting; Business Development: 25 yrs… But honestly just starting my OWN personal space to Smart Things. From my profession & past experiences, I’ve always been leary to open any type of line to the outside ; however, for personal reasons & certain security safety concerns, Enhanced Security has become required, not optional for me. Now for my interest in the “Smart Conveniences” of life… Since my almost 12yo is growing up with all these Conveniencs in life, I figured i better start using them to educate him on how, when, & what by us integrating them now & as he tells me… “Step into the Future” lol… Little does he realize, I was in the future back when dial up was the only option, lol & plunged head 1st into every new tech savey invention back then, but after several life defining situations, I opted to back out because the Security just simply wasn’t there like it is today. So My knowledge has always been there from start, my desire to have them in My PersonalSpace, Not so much! But I’m definitely learning to appreciate them as I’m finding ways to make them a part of our more secure environment & not just for the sake of being lazy, lol I only use cams inside my own when absolute necessary, Otherwise, I Shut them off by completely unplugging them, & disconnecting from any & all internet. Many don’t realize that Only Turning Wireless Cams Off, doesn’t mean they are Truly off! The ability to just simply UNPLUG is one of the various reasons I turned to Wyze for my cams of choice. Quick & Simple to UNPLUG & Even Better that when I Plug them back in… It’s just as simple & quick to get them back up & running! Plus the quality is hands down some of the best I’ve seen, especially at this price point & even beyond! After countless hours of research, Wyze wins on all the areas that matter to me & my family! So happy that I literally stumbled across this company & its’ products! And after spending a few hours browsing thru here, it’s nice to see a group of people with such a diverse level of knowledge, helpfulness, creativity, & a genuine passion to help educate others on how to not only INSTALL, USE, & EXPERIENCE Smart Devices & Security… But also How to keep your Personal Space & Family Safe WHILE USING THESE DEVICES! When we open up connections in our personal space, we are essentially opening a door for outsiders to come on in. So making sure that Connection is as Safe As it possibly can be, is the most important component in my opinion! You will find I have a Very Limited footprint on Social Media. But I do like to interact with very specific forums geared towards certain areas of learning & gaining/sharing knowledge… such as this. I know my family is super excited that I’ve finally allowed these types of products in our home, but honestly they have WYZE to thank! Great Company with Excellent Products and R&D!
