SmartHomeTherapy

I always wondered if a smart home would make me lazy. But the opposite has been true.

The consistency of technology combined with the expanding skills and abilities of smart home products has allowed me to build routines, rules, and scenes that help me build a better, stronger life.

For example, I made a variable morning alarm system. As a full time rideshare driver, sometimes my work day ends at 8pm or 12am. When I say good night, all my home is put to sleep. Then exactly 9 hours later, I am woken up with a spontaneously shuffled music playlist and other announcements. The consistency of this 9 hour sleep window has been a huge help to my health.

It’s the precise and purposeful features like these that help the quality of my life increase. And often my power bill decrease
