At what ranges for both day/night is person detection 90% reliable?
In my setup, I’m facing a fairly major road, so my detection zone ignores everything past about 40-45 feet away from the camera. During the day, pretty much any person within my detection zone gets detected. At night, it’s a lot less predictable, but in general, the closer the better. Further away isn’t very likely to get detected at night.
I upload whenever possible, but once I started using the beta and CMC, they all fail. The only files I can share are the non CMC clips.
It fails for me too. Must be a bug.
Yes, it is unfortunately true. I seem to get a better chance of person detection on cloudy days with no wind or shadows. Most of the time I show up as motion when I work in the yard.
Seems that sunshine produces many light changes, but that is unrelated to person detection.
Thanks
