Your Feedback in Needed?

Did anyone else receive this email? Clicking the link brought me to a Microsoft page asking for some more information. I’m just hoping this is not a scam and/or a phishing attempt.

what URL is the link taking you to?

I have not received anything. But it is good to be cautious.

To this…….

FREE $30.00 Amazon Gift Card is a big red :triangular_flag: . Did you look at the address of the sender. I wouldn’t click on any link from an unknown, even WYZE.

Yea, post the URL it is going to when you click the sign up button. Put spaces between the / marks

I am checking with Wyze to see if they sent it out

Here is the convoluted URL:

By the way, the address of the sender looks, for the most part, legit. Here is the senders address:

no-reply@hello.wyze.com

Thank you show much. I’m pretty savvy when it comes to spam and phishing, but this one pulled me in.

My Pleasure - as soon as they respond, I will let you know.

The way things are today, I question almost every email which contains links. But some seem so legit.

Yes, that’s an e-mail address that they use, so that piece is legitimate if that’s actually the origin of the message. That can definitely be spoofed, so it’s good to be cautious, and I don’t blame you for that, but it’s difficult to say more about the true origin without knowing what the message’s full headers look like.
