I’ve reset the camera, deleted and reinstalled the app. Keep getting Error Code 23. It was working fine for 2 months. It records events, but no live feed . What is going on?
What app version are you having issues on?
The reason I ask is people have reported that the authentication procedure changed on recent firmware. So the camera can upload events just fine on newer firmware since it’s authenticating with the server which has the updated protocols, but if you use an old app version it might still be trying to use the old authentication protocols and won’t authenticate the live steam because it’s trying deprecated live stream authentication.
If your phone or tablet is an old one on older OS versions it may not even support the latest app updates and will be telling you you’re update to date (with the latest app version that OS can support) even though it’s not actually the latest app version, which is why I asked what app version you have specifically.
To get your exact App version: Open the app → Go to the Account tab → Select About
Otherwise make sure you’re also on the latest firmware.
Last question, Are you connected to the same router and network that the cameras are on? Or are you connecting away from home or on mobile data and it is failing that way? I asked this question because a couple of models have recently been having struggles with some beta testing firmware to where the cameras will enact if you’re on the same network, but the live stream fails if you are on mobile data or away from home. So I’m just checking to see if that might be related here for you.
My v4 cams are currently streaming on the latest app and latest firmware. So if you can answer some of the above questions, it might help us narrow down what’s happening to you so that we can report to them what needs to be fixed. ![]()
