Wyze Window Cam timestamp freezes when streaming through QNAP

I’m using a Wyze Window Cam with my QNAP NAS through Docker Wyze Bridge.

Setup:

  • Wyze Bridge version: 4.5.0

  • Camera firmware: 1.3.0.52

  • NAS: QNAP

The camera connects successfully, and the live feed starts after I refresh the stream. However, the timestamp shown on the video freezes and stops updating, even though the live video continues playing.

I restarted the bridge and refreshed the stream several times, but the problem remains. The timestamp works normally in the Wyze app, so this appears to happen only when streaming through Wyze Bridge.

Has anyone experienced this problem with firmware 1.3.0.52 or Wyze Bridge 4.5.0? Is there a setting or workaround to keep the timestamp synchronized?

I can provide a sanitized debug log if needed.

Are you sure the video is still moving? The timestamp is put on by the cam itself, so it sounds like the video is not actually streaming.

The camera’s live feed is still working normally in the Wyze mobile app. However, when I access the same feed through the Wyze Bridge on my QNAP server, the video freezes. Since the timestamp is generated by the camera and it also stops updating, it confirms that the stream through QNAP is actually frozen—not just the timestamp

That makes more sense. There are a couple people here that use Wyze Bridge but you may need to check with the developers of that app (or if they have a support forum/reddit/discord). I’m actually surprised the window cam even works with it honestly.
