Installing the V4 Firmware now. Will report back when done

Ok updated my V1 doorbell, seamed to take a long time, but was successful. It appears to be faster connecting when opening on the app. Will report if i notice anything.

Updated my V4, it went really fast. Also seams to connect really fast when opening it in the app. One thing i noticed, i can not turn smart zoom on or off. And dont see a way to turn off motion tracking box. Will report if i find anything else.
Im on latest beta Android app.

Updated my V4’s without issue. As @midnight_jeep97 stated, seems to load a lot faster, impressive to me.

@midnight_jeep97 , the motion tracking option on the V4 is located in the Settings area under Detection Settings. There is a toggle to turning on or off Motion Tagging. If that is not what you meant, sorry.

If you meant the little window that opens and the screen will track the motion, that is handled via the Smart Focus, simply tap on it to turn off Smart Focus. Hard to tell if it is on or off, but there will be a small green box when on.

Both seem to be functioning on my device. I am using a Pixel 8 for my testing.

Yes you are correct, i did find it. In the settings. My error for not looking deeper. Be nice if it was the same for all the cams.
The smart focus is exactly what i ment. I had to restart the cam and then i was able to toggle it on and off.
Only other thing i noticed so far is audio seams to not be as loud/sensitive.
Also thanks for the reply, all info is and pointers is always appreciated.

Just got my first friendly faces notice on my v1 doorbell.
Clicked my “unknown” face in the notification, and I get:

“can not show friendly faces from a shared camera”

What the heck?!?
