Wyze thermostat with dual heating source

I’m from Quebec Canada and here we have bienergy available to us.

That means that bellow lets say -20c, our electric heatpump is triggered by the electric company to shutdown electic heating (heat pump) and switch to the gas furnace.

Can the Wyze thermostat do that? I know you have alt heating and emergency heating. Emergency heating is basic so if they’re switching to on that mean that I wont be able to control the temp inside right? And if I switch to AUX, will my heatpump shutdown when the furnace is switched on?
